Thanks for checking out Scripture-Driven Life! I am just a pastor who has a passion for seeing the Word of God transform lives. My wife and I have three daughters and each one is amazing in her own special way. When I am not with my family or our church family, I can usually be found spending time with other pastors and church leaders talking about ministry and the Bible. Maybe you and I can talk sometime. Just hit me up through email or social media! Blessings.

Scripture-Driven Life…
…is about helping others see the importance of the Word of God for navigating the demands of everyday life.
I think one of my favorite passages in the Bible is in Nehemiah. The people had been laboring to rebuild the walls around the city of Jerusalem and in the seventh month all of the people gathered together to hear Ezra the priest read the Law of Moses. The amazing part to me is when he opened the Law, all of the people stood up (Neh 8:5). This was a people who were putting their lives back together after having been in exile for 70 plus years. They had faced one obstacle and setback after another in trying to rebuild the walls, but when the Word of God was presented, they stood and listened! Why? Because they knew that it was the very words of God and as such it should be obeyed and implemented into their everyday life.
The Word of God is just as real and authoritative today. It is still the lamp that lit the psalmist’s path (Psa 119:105), and it still holds the words of eternal life for us just as it did for Peter (John 6:68).
My goal is to try and open up the Bible and help people to see it in fresh way. I want them to see that it still should have a place in a person’s life and not just for sentimental reasons. So, my goal is to share thoughts and insights that help people to implement the Bible in their lives everyday. Along the way, I may also do some deeper posts that show just how amazing the Bible really is. I hope you will hang around and if you don’t have one already, I hope you will let me introduce you to a Scripture-Driven Life!
